We sell, install and support Yamaha outboards and Beta Marine inboards, and we stock genuine Volvo Penta parts. All servicing is carried out to manufacturer procedures by trained engineers.
Yamaha
Yamaha’s outboard range runs from the compact F2.5 up to the F350 petrol models, so there’s a motor to match most boats. We keep a small selection of the smaller outboards in stock in The Barge and can provide PDI if collected from the boatyard; 5‑year warranty on purchase. Any other models can be ordered in for you, with a delivery charge applied.
Yamaha Portable Series (F2.5–F6)
F2.5: Light and portable with integrated fuel tank, ideal for tenders and inflatables. Easy to store and carry.
F4/F5/F6: Leak‑free 3‑position storage system, 360° steering for manoeuvrability, CDI/TCI ignition for reliable starts. F5/F6 models include a larger fuel tank option and external tank connection for longer range.
All portable models feature ergonomic carry handles, low vibration mounts and simple manual start systems.
Yamaha Lightweight Mid‑Range (F8/F9.9)
F8: Lightweight yet powerful. Features a compact twin-cylinder SOHC powerhead with an 8% larger capacity for increased torque. Also offers easy manual starting with a decompression device.
F9.9: Combines portability with advanced performance, offering strong carrying handles, shallow water drive, and vertical storage. It includes EFI for fuel efficiency.
Yamaha Mid‑Range (F15–F40)
Compact 2‑cylinder and 3‑cylinder engines delivering reliable thrust for day boats and fishing craft.
F20/F25: EFI technology for fuel efficiency, easy start, and clean emissions.
F30/F40: Electronic fuel injection, power tilt and trim, and compatibility with Yamaha digital gauges.
Yamaha High Power (F50–F130)
Versatile 4‑cylinder models designed for larger open boats and sports craft.
Features include Yamaha Multi‑Function Tiller Handle, PrimeStart ignition and Variable Trolling RPM switch.
EFI across the range for smooth performance and economy.
Compatible with Yamaha Digital Network Gauges.
Yamaha High Horsepower (F150–F350)
F150/F175/F200: Advanced DOHC 4‑cylinder or inline‑4 engines with optional drive‑by‑wire controls.
F225/F250/F300: V6 60‑degree configuration delivering strong, smooth performance, with electronic throttle and shift (DES).
F350: Yamaha’s flagship V8 outboard, combining 5.3L displacement with high torque for demanding offshore use.
All models feature Yamaha reliability, corrosion protection and long service intervals.

Beta Marine
As an approved Beta Marine dealer, we supply, install and support the seagoing range from the Beta 10 (10 bhp @ 3,000 rpm) up to the Beta 105 (99 bhp @ 2,600 rpm) — 16 engine sizes to suit a wide variety of vessels. See some example specifications below.
